FAQs
Getting Started & Design Process
How do I get started if I’m not sure what I want to do with a room?
No problem, most of our projects begin with a blank slate. Just tell us how you want to use the space, and we’ll handle the rest. Whether you need a quiet hobby nook or a versatile family hangout, we turn your goals into creative 3D concepts that give your room a clear direction.
What information do I need to provide?
We work with rough measurements and photos of your existing space. If you have inspiration photos or specific functional needs share those too!
How accurate will the rendering be?
While we work from your rough measurements, our models are built to scale. This creates a highly realistic representation of your room’s proportions, ensuring the furniture, layout, and flow feel true to the space.
Customization & Details
Can you incorporate furniture I already own?
Absolutely. If you have a favorite sofa or a family heirloom you plan to keep, we can model similar items to ensure the new design blends perfectly with your existing pieces.
Can you show specific brands or materials?
Yes. We can incorporate specific products—like James Hardie siding or specific stone veneers—to ensure the rendering is a precise representation of your chosen materials.
Do you provide a shopping list for the items in the rendering?
Yes! To make the transition from vision to reality seamless, we can provide direct links to the products used in your model or create a curated material board so you can shop the look with confidence.
Timeline & Revisions
How long does the process take?
Timelines vary based on complexity, but most initial drafts are delivered within 5 to 7 business days. We’ll provide a specific schedule once we review your project.
What if I want to see a different color or layout after the first draft?
Our process includes a set number of revisions. We can easily swap colors, textures, or furniture arrangements so you can compare options and make a confident final decision.
Pricing & Value
How much do renderings cost?
It depends on the scale of the project, but typically a rendering costs between $200–$500. This covers the 3D modeling, material application, and final high-resolution images.
How do renderings save me money in the long run?
Renderings prevent “buyer’s remorse” and costly mid-construction changes. By seeing the finished project in 3D first, you avoid purchasing furniture that doesn’t fit or choosing materials that don’t harmonize.
For Contractors & Professionals
How do renderings help with client approvals?
Renderings eliminate design ambiguity. By providing a realistic “after” photo, you help homeowners commit to premium materials and structural changes faster, keeping your project on schedule.
Can these renderings be used for permits?
Yes! While our renderings are not stamped architectural or engineering blueprints, they are often required by HOAs and Municipal Review Boards to show the visual impact of a project. A realistic 3D image helps these boards understand how an addition, garage, or landscape will look in relation to the rest of the neighborhood, which can significantly speed up the approval process.
