This room makeover began with a common design challenge—a space without purpose. The homeowners wanted to transform it into a dual-function room: a welcoming guest bedroom and a relaxing sitting area for daily use. With incredible natural sunlight pouring in throughout the day, we leaned into a bright, earthy design theme to highlight the room’s best features.

The design centers around a natural, grounded palette using soft greens, warm browns, tans, and creams. Key elements included:

• A calming earth-tone green paint color
• Textural details like a jute-style area rug and wicker storage baskets
• A mix of earthy accent pillows in complementary tones
• A daybed that functions as both a cozy sofa and a guest sleeping area
• Updated French doors with soft curtains for privacy and sunlight control
• A refreshed wet bar with a resurfaced concrete-look countertop, making it both functional and stylish
• A cozy reading/study nook featuring a new leather accent chair and curated wall art that ties the space together
